Cosmic Gate is in the middle because it's the worst, even among that pile of crap. I think I thought it was shit even when I first bought it.

it's not something i'd dance to. I prefer more energetic tracks and this melodic techno is not very popular, there is a track in the style of the track that is very big i've heard it played in several sets. Cirez D - Glow this works but bassline is killer and has a very rough hi hats line, totally danceable.

This is more trippy i'd not play it on peaktime.

Why you have a guetta cd? From that cds maybe LEF and Schulz's are good ones, Armin's 10 years may be good as you'd love to listen to it an extra 10 years later and see the progression but Guetta?¿ If someone gives me that present i'd sell it on ebay... if i ever need a track from that disc for a gig or something i'd happily download it ilegally.

That was actually before he went mainstream. It's just fairly average commercial house circa 2008. And I bought all of these when I was 14/15 so of course it's shit taste

How the hell did you rise from Guetta to techno grand connoisseur so fast? I'm still working on the whole melodic-techno-why-isnt-this-house thing, but I discovered it last year, so fuck me.

I remember at this club in Sweden when "Love is Gone" was playing, some chick elbowed me in the chest. ****. Over here they play Gagnam style mashups in serious clubs. Romanians are utter fucktards.

I want to hear this in a club:

I'd sell my soul to have a full copy of this:

Tried finding this guy for 3 years.

Svedala is a small village in southern Sweden, where my ex-girlfriend was from. I emailed the label asking about the track, tried finding the guy "Lars" in Svedala, without any luck. Then I find out it actually is (most likely) Eric Prydz.

As for minimal techno in general, it's a weird thing to define. One might argue that techno is minimalistic by design and thus the term minimal techno is redundant. I mean, if this track came out today I would probably call it just techno. It's more of a label because that's what it was called around the time it came out.

Sounds like it would have been better to just let System-J answer the question himself then; no offense.

Dunno, I'm pretty obsessive when it comes to music I guess. That and a massive amount of time spent.
