And you're impressed by a budget line Warwick? Are you dating your Guitar Center salesman or something?

That Bootsy bass is the equivalent of Roland making a Tiesto edition of the Gaia, complete with the an ISOS bank - now, you too can look and sound just like him!

The German made Warwicks are OK, but their balance is effed up, the necks feel like tree trunks, and they basically feel like they're engineered by large German women for clubbing their cheating husbands to death. About the only people who buy them are the wealthier Guitar Center types who think they're getting a boutique bass, but don't know the difference. The budget Warwicks are just overpriced crap - terrible PUs and electronics, shoddy build quality, etc.

Whatevsies man. I like to have one of each and I know a lot of other people do too, for the exact same reasons. It has nothing to do with technique.

Yup, when I downsized my studio a few years ago, I kept my PC3X (88 weighted keys) and my Virus TI2 (61 semi-weighted keys) for the same reason. And, yeah, I definitely prefer using the Virus for drums over the Kurzweil.

Those motorized faders look odd on the tiny fader lengths, but I am digging the innovation of it.

i can make a squire p bass sound better than anything you might have. the instrument is only as good as the player and you are a as the french say sans le groove. And the space bass is obviously for show. Just like my flying v guitar. It is furniture. I have a stingray and an american p bass. And really, bass is well, you DI it. And the difference is the action which is not reality a big deal unless you are wanting.

The French?! Shit, son, if there's one country that knows nothing about groove, it's France. The only country that is less groovalicious is Canada, hence the reason for Rush, Bryan Adams, and Celine Dion. And, if you're French-Canadian, may God have mercy on your complete lack of soul. OWWWWW, can I get an amen, my brothas?!!!

edit: if you happen to be French, Canadian, a Rush fan, or all/some of the above, I'm just kidding, . But, I'm not kidding about Celine Dion and Bryan Adams - they suck.

MIDI output would have been a nice touch.

who better to let you know about your lack than the french. I think you only speak american so you missed the point. There is no way a person that makes the vocal trance you do can

A, criticize any of the shitty acts listed,
B, talk about groove

I think you were the rush fan.

I would say after classical music, 70s funk is probably my next specialty and well that sort of d train 80s funky shit. Well that was what i was best at until I studied classical so i would say that preceded the nerdy white stuff.
