Eh? The time between when I first knew of any problem to when I was fired was 1 week. Up to that point I was the only one who had got anything done that quarter. My main project for that quarter had just gone out the door on time and on budget (which couldn't be said for the art departments project with the same client, which somehow had gone nearly 600 hours OVER... SIX HUNDRED!).
I hadn't even worked on the project I was supposedly in hot water with the client for in a month because I was told to work on this other project, so I knew it was fucking BS when they said the client was mad at me and it was my boss throwing me under the bus again (he had thrown me under the bus before, in front of me, on the phone).
I was the sacrificial lamb and I knew it, so I made them pay for it. I was actually looking at houses 2 weeks earlier, so I was pretty pissed.
