Aside from briefly enjoying the downtown nightlife with a meal and a few drinks, took it easy for the most part and did nothing but repay sleep debt. Now using today to get caught up with my laundry and groceries. So the cycle continues...

Yeah, I have a love/hate relationship with people visiting us. I never get anything done the following day because I just need to recharge. People also always seem to want to drink the entire time they're visiting, since they're on vacation.
I had an extremely exhausting Friday, having a work dinner. As much as I like the people, and I really really do, it's difficult to drink cocktails for 7 hours and stay professional at the same time. Basically spent the rest of the weekend recovering.

If I can't fall asleep a few turns of civ do the trick, usually in the industrial era and beyond though. My crappy MacBook can't run civ 6
