Originally posted by guava yeah, i went to see him as well. it was supposed to be one of the biggest events in alberta history. too bad it was at a time when the city decided that raves were a horrible thing. the security was so frigg'n tight. i got in line at 10pm and got in four hours later at 2am... and i was at the FRONT of the line... dunno about the saps who decided to show up at 12pm+. that killed the vibe for me. didn't have a good time after that.
also, i saw max graham last year at swirl in montreal. i was not impressed. nothing special. i had went to see pvd, but he was a no show. and it was too gat damn packed in there!
me
* LOL. for Ascension. the fact thta is was the biggest because of oakie coming. I got in within 30 minutes, I was there at around 11:30pm.
max. I noticed that. I listen to some of the CDs he made, brutally uninspired. I listen to the livesets too, same conclusion.
biggest rave I ever attended was last year, Summer Love.

hehe.. yeppers.. I felt like a kid in the biggest playground in the world. There were people from England (UK) coming to Summer love! Wow..
4 djs going all at once at 4 corners of the stage! that was crazy! and LIVE PA! free nipple piercings, saw half nekkid chickies too! hahaah
yeah. I was one of those smart people realizing there's no way I'll get in by lining up, so I deviously stayed at the front, and slowly slithered in. Some people got in faster because they were letting the calgary people go in first. Go figure..

twilogoddess, did i excuse him for playing the same records everywhere? NO i did not. i said, its not surprising when he comes here (or anywhere trance isnt so popular, UNLIKE new york) that he'd play more recognizable tracks.
im not defending all of his sets.
so dont be setting up a straw man to attack

Womean. basically, i find your opinions are a tad pointy at times but I agree with you on this one. i didn't explain it better at the beginning and my initial opening sentence was miscontrued, i guess.
Talking. you are barking up the wrong tree. where did I accuse you or EVEN insinuate that? stop holding your breath, so you can let some air out of your big head, for a change.

He opened w/Lost.com- Animal. He has been opening w/that track at EVERY gig. "What it feels like for a girl, Diamondback, Seven Cities, tracks off Tranceport, Closed w/the Prophet. He plays the same set everywhere..I don't see that as passionate.
Ok..find you don't see it as possionate...that's fine...one thing I can see for sure is that you are very passionate about being rude and arrogant. You seem to "feed" off of dj's trainwrecking and mocking them as a result. Are you perfect in your trade or profession?...very few people are, and even they aren't as brutally rude as you are.

Now where did that come from? That question makes absolutely NO sense!
I have yet to see anyone in here disrespect a girl/woman for
any opinion she posts and no one did it here either.
Just because someone has a different opinion than you do does not make you wrong and them right (or vice versa) - and I don't think that the earlier statement had anything to do with the fact that you are a woman but only with your seeming inability to tolerate any opinion but your own.
