Stuff like Tunnel Trance Force. That is representative of the German scene.

also 146 is normal, listen to 1200 mics - salvia divinorum...
i even got a tune at 148 and that sounds normal, it all depands on what ur trying to acheive, but in my opinion, if u use a 4/4 beat, higher than 149 is madness, but if u use some dnb beats then 170 sounds normal...

Thumbs down

Wow, you're so mature.

But instead of starting flame wars, let's step aside and let a German prove or refute my statement that PvD is not representative of the German Trance scene. Here we go:

As a german I have to agree with Eugene. PvD does not represent the type of trance that is being played/produced in Germany. I don`t even think that artists like Dumonde or Cosmic Gate (which I both love btw!) really represent the trance that is typical german, altough it could be the style of the future for trance in germany but that`s another topic.

Someone on this forum once said: The Germans are the only ones who call techno hardtrance.

There`s a lot of truth in that statement.

For your reference, the thread is http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...th&pagenumber=2

JP: Yes, PvD is global. That's precisely why he's not particularly "German."

Well, for one thing, Technaut, not everyone on these forums dislikes Tunnel Trance Force. I, for one, greatly enjoy it, as a matter of fact. Once again, a quote from a previous thread is very appropriate here -- from your fellow countryman, by the way!:

The thread is

And yes, this style is certainly more representative of the German scene than Paul van Dyk. I invite any other German on these forums to comment.

It's a big pity that PvD is not that popular here in Germany. His Dj Style is not particular German...

Hmmm what is typical stuff for the german trance scene?
In Germany not so many people are in2 trance... Here are many stupid guys who listen to Scooter or Aquagen and then think it is trance or techno. Typical for the real germant trance scene are flutlicht or shokk, i think maybe Tillmann Uhrmacher or DJ Taucher

Right you fecking monkey enough of that!

Did I actually say that PvD represented the german trance scene as a whole?

I laffed at Tunnel Trance Force cos its shite amd I didnt think many people in Germany liked it, I can't see people going to Timewarp or casino and listening to that cack. Maybe they do.

PvD ain't popular in germany? Please explain why he plays at Rosenmontags Rave, Mayday and Berlin Loveparade and his sets get broadcasted.

Oh and im not shagging PvD
