Great great night.........once I was in the club and digging the vibe and the music I didn't even bother thinking about the grueling 3 hour wait in the cold that I endured before getting in ( I arrived in line at midnight and didn't get in until 3 AM). It was so worth it though. The club was done up really well and it was AWESOME to see a lot of friends come out for this party.

His set was nothing too spectacular by PvD standards but it was still a FANTASTIC show. There were lots of classics early on in the night and a lot of his re-vamped tunes from his Global DVD. I liked the two hours of tech house and breaks that he dropped between 5-7 AM........leading into his final hour of power!!! Lamb - Gorecki (Hamel mix), Coldplay - Clocks, and Midtone - Pearl where big big tunes for me.

The friends and the vibe made the night extra special.......and I have no regrets about going and waiting in line forever. Even my roommates who aren't into this music had a great time.

Does anyone know the name of the track he ended his set with BEFORE he played his encores?

He dropped it at Glow too near the end of his set there.

After seing PvD god knows how many times I can safely say that this was the best night of my entire life. I have seen PvD in Twilo and that night was the closest night to Twilo that I ever had. No, fuck that - twilo does not even hold the damn candle to PvD's set at Roxy. I felt like this was the first time I had sex...

Seriously, we walked in right in time to hear him spin Sasha's "Wavy Gravy" and then transition into Blackeight - The Silence... I fucking lost it, this combo just destroyed me and it was just a beginning of the night for us... Holly crap!

the rest of the night was just magical. I love Armin but he doesn't even come close to what PvD did to me on Friday. I was just torn to pieces. Hit after hit after hit after hit. I thought I'd need oxygen mask - coz' my fucking lungs were expanding beyond my chest's capacity. And when I felt like I was about to asphyxiate he drops Aquanuts "deep blue sea" -----

THE WHOLE PLACE WAS SEA OF HANDS AND WAS MOVING LIKE THE OCEAN...

I am soooo lucky to be one of the few to be inside... And to think that I didn't want to go initially!!! I am fucking crazy!

I was so edgy before we came in but after standing in line for 1.5 hours and hearing people cheer every unlucky soul who took a dive into a nice little puddle (i mean a lake) outside of the club, I felt cheered up... ONce inside, I was like fish in the water.... so many people so many happy faces! I loved every second of it. The only thing that spoiled the night was several jerk-offs were selling drugs right next to us and it was freaking me out. I didn't want to leave my nice spot (on the speaker, to the left of the DJ Booth) but figured it would be better...

Anyway - all I remember (too many songs to keep track of, in no particular order):

OK, I guess it's my turn to post. My friends (caryn,greg,lara,rory, alex, mike, and 2 other texas peeps) and I arrived around 2:15 to see a line that was still around the block, but luckily spotted some friends (twilochik) right near the door so we cut in with them and were in in 10 minutes. Place was packed and you could def. tell that it was not the usual PVD fans, but a lot of stragglers from SF and Exit. There was an overabundance of shirtless guys and you knew the reason why. Please reopen those clubs as soon as possible!!!!! OK, back to PVD. We officially made it on to the dancefloor around 2:30 and basically from that point on Paul played the best set I have ever heard from him. Non-stop trance classics/anthems/pvd productions/new stuff His mixing was superb and his flow was amazing. I wandered around for a bit around 3:30 to get some air near the chillout room and thats when I spotted most of the ta's walking around. Around 4:30 headed back out to the dancefloor pretty much till around 8:30 when he finally closed the night out. I have to say I can't get much happier from a set when he plays WORDS!!!!! Gorecki (Bill Hamel Remix) Solar Coaster (Midway Remix) and Skydive (havent heard this one in a long time)

Its a shame that they oversold that place by at least 500 tix, but eventually they did re-open the door around 4:30 for ticket holders only, but by then the damage had already been done. He closed the night with "inspect her gadget" which is one of my favorite songs and def. a perfect ending to a perfect night. I couldn't have asked for more.

Left Roxy around 9 and headed home with some friends. They had a drive to Long Island so I met up with another friend got some breakfats and hit up a PVD afterparty at my friend's loft. Stayed there till about 2 pm and finally went back to my place and just crashed till about 5 and came home.

What a night!!!!!

by the way, I officially hate "Nothing But You" I am now the president and founder of the "Make a dub for Nothing" Club.

wow....what a night...

I arrived early with lil lizzy and ronin waited for a lil while on line before we decided to use roxy pull and skip the line. Roxy was my home for the last yr and it was sooooo good to be back inside that building. Place holds so many memories for me.

We ran to the front of the booth around 145 and we look to our left and there PVD...like 2 feet away from us. I try not to get freaked out but i got goosebumps just even bein that close to him. Crazy!

I loved his set. Trespasser was sick. Obsession into Never (both filterheadz remixes) were my fav but also his Nu NRG binge at 715 when i was waiting ALL NIGHT for it wow. I jumped up and down. I was thinking maybe he has like a "no nrg trax at roxy" policy since he didnt play any last time and it was gettin late then I heard butterfly comin in and I loved it.

Nice meeting Arturo--good seeing some of the TA's that I know, Highmay and a few others. I think i saw Tek but i couldnt get his attention. Got an autograph and Im framing the poster just so i can remember the night like it was---beautiful.

Great meeting everyone on Friday. I had a blast, though I wish I been more livelier. I actually started developing a pretty bad head cold that hadn't fully attacked me until this morning.

In any case, got there @ 11:30, took me 20 minutes to get in. The crowd INSIDE the club was great. I apologize to everyone who couldn't make it in. Pretty sad that he didn't play Out There , but it's all good. He better in Montreal.
