Exactly Diginut man! (not that anybody has been bitching but don't start!) All the dj's in one room would be awesome! You hear a bit of everything and don't miss a dj period.

Lets hope that's true....

I've been having a hard as hell time trying to get a TA line-bypass list going (by talking to one of their managers). I hope they have as high as an opinion about TA as I do - lets hoping the bitching didn't persuade them otherwise.

None the less, I have a phone call with guv tomorrow, so lets see what develops, but at this point (at least dealing with guv managers) a line-bypass is a no go. I'll update everybody tomorrow.

In a way though I'm not surprised. I don't think they're looking at this event like Tiesto. No pre-sales of tickets, etc. That means we better be there in line by 10pm or else............

For those who want on the guestlist email [email protected] or LDK - hopefully one of us can come through with a line-bypass (at least!).

Regards!

Good luck with that. Especially with them not selling any advance tix, the guestlist will be very limited. They usually don't do line by-pass per say aside from knowing someone working there. Although Temporal Rythm is putting forth a great effort with what they're doing with Viva, don't expect clubs like Guvt to take on similar requests. They make the big bucks for a reason and for the most part could care less about line by-passing a bunch of people. Maybe you guys will get lucky but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I guess this works out for me anyway. Now I'll get to see Holden AND BT and Ferry all in the same room without having to negotiate insane crowds. I don't know much about Holden but his productions Nothing and Horizon are pretty good...not Tiesto quality (my opinion) but still nice progressive stuff.

Oh, and I was at the very front for Tiesto...I mean the VERY FRONT being crushed against those goddamn sub woofers ALL NIGHT LONG! It's a good thing I brought some foam ear plugs for Fair's set...I took them out as soon as Tiesto came on but....holy fuck it was loud in there! The subs were so loud that they were blowing out my ZIPPO!

I might squeeze my way up front to see BT and Ferry up close and get a few pics but if it's anything like Tiesto, fuck that shit....I'm going to the middle or back.

I hope Ferry closes it out....Holden coming after Ferry won't make much sense. OH, and do you think there is any chance he'll drop Out of the Blue? Never heard that on a true sound system.

He produced 1/3 of that album, and all of the singles were his. Say what you want about BT, based on that N'Sync album he is the most talented producer (money generated from album sales) on paper.

Purely house?? This I have a hard fucking time believing. BT has never been one to stick to just one genre. Even in his "trance days" he was all over the place, I honestly expect a bit of breaks in his set.

<-- called it right here

^^^ I've only downloaded a few tracks, and listened to a few samples from his site, but he seemed to be all over the place.

Personally I'd call BT's newer stuff breaks rather than house. Progressive breaks. (as in "I heart", yes, now be quiet ). I know his live sets are different, but the Movement In Still Life album reminds me a little bit of Hybrid.

Besides, even if it is housey, there is *some* good house music out there. I'll be looking forward to BT's performance.

The funny thing is that my company has booked the guv for a corporate event in the past, and I've met my contact in person a few times - but still no avail.

I don't think there will be any line-bypass for this event (unless LKD comes through). Thanks to all who mailed. If things change tomorrow when I call (and email) once again I'll let everybody know!

It'll probably be breaks, plus maybe a lot of other stuff. A mix of things would be very cool.
