I guess I should clarify what I said shouldn't I? But, first I would like to give appreciation for the responses, and say that I'm glad it started quite a conversation heh heh. Anyways, what I meant by sales-wise was in terms of most sales by units sold, as well as most profit made. By release-wise, I primarily meant the quality of the tracks released. I hope this helps?

i'm guessing its either ID&T or Ministry Of Sound. their compilation cd sales probably bring in more than some other label's record sales.

I think a standard to judge record labels isn't just about sales or profits, nor even quality of records, as a good quality record can have very low sales but still maintain a positive impact on the electronica community. Rather, I think that record labels should be judged on their tradition and level of respect in the music business. Labels like Hooj, Platipus and Bonzai have a rich history with well established releases and artists...these are the ones that we all look for when a new release is about to hit the sreets.
Plus, you are forgetting some non-pure trance labels that have an impact on these trance labels as well. Nukleuz, BXR, and Bedrock(which was amazingly only mentioned once in these replies) are very well involved in the trance community even though they technicaly fall under other categories.
Xtravaganza is another label that just came into mind as well
Excellent topic btw...
