Hello Pinokio, it's been a while but as always I'm wondering how you're keeping and looking out for your stuff. Hope things are great in Panama (and congrats on Panama's first gold medal at the Athletics World championships in Japan recently). I've been fairly busy myself and have been wanting to respond to your latest mix Visual Thoughts for a long while now. First thing is that I haven't heard such a fresh, crisp mix before. Not quite sure how to explain it. Maybe a little bit like you describe it but instead of the million tv screens, I feel like it's millions of little white electrons floating in the air which contains all the sounds and it's coming at you from all over. I defnitely get the euphoric feeling which is very rare nowadays. I think you've achieved exactly what you set out to achieve by experimenting with the sound - it's amazingly different and like you say, it's effing beautiful sounding. One drawback for me however was the mashup-like effect throughout the set which I didn't really enjoy. Reason I say this is because I found myself concentrating on all the different sounds coming from all over and not really focussing on the actual tracks which by the way were all great. So, in terms of the sound you set out to achieve I think that you've taken it to a new level. Having said that, I do believe that it is a very dangerous sound for me cos I'm not sure I'll be able to cope with the beauty of the sound you've managed to pull off here. Like I said upfront, it's really difficult to describe, but it's only because it is very impressive. My mates and I are still having our 2-monthly sessions at the beach. We have one coming up end of September and I think it's about time that we had another Pepa special moment (hehehe). Cheers mate. Hope to hear from you extremely soon. Flynn
