Neither of them have rings, so they both suck

As much fun as that game was to watch last night, and I feel bad for Kevin Durant - he had an incredible game that is barely getting mentioned, I hope the Mavs recognize that they were outrebounded, both offensively and total, and the opposing team scored 112 points. That worries me.

2 TOTALLY different skill sets, yes. However, "far more skilled"? LOL! Hakeem's skills are so well respected to this day, that Dwight Howard goes to him for 1 on 1 training in the off season to enhance his game! I bet Hakeem's 2 rings would gladly debate Dirk's 0 on the topic at hand.

Forget Howard. Michael fucking Jordan went to Hakeem for 1 on 1 training to work on his post moves. If the greatest of all time is coming to you for advice, then you're pretty fucking good.

It's not always going to be that way though. Durant isn't always going to score that much. Neither is Dirk. The Mavs are still a much better team, and their bench is way deeper. Keep in mind Peja was essentially non-existant last night. He has the ability to go off any time. I really can't see this series going longer than 5 games. OKC has to choose whether they're going to take away the 3 point shot, or take away the paint. They can't do both, and as everybody saw last night, when they take away the 3 point shot it allows Dirk to get iso's all night, and you saw how that went.

did I hear someone say hakeem? dirk is not at hakeem's level for sure. hakeem has to be one of the best centers of all time. his "dream shake" can never be duplicated. sure there are some who can duplicate Jordan's fadeaway or hardaway's crossover. but no one can copy the dream shake. at his prime he was unbelievable.

back to dirk, he's great. probably top 5 best sharpshooter of all time.

fuck I didn't know that. wow.

I'll take the Renzo track at this point. Dirk is awesome. Hakeem was awesome. Both will go down as great players with enduring legacies. And Dirk is at least the best Euro player ever. Done.
