Finally back to working out frequently after two months of being too sick to leave bed or eat, really. I missed it.
I have no idea how people work out at night. I am so energetic afterwards that it's entirely possible I might kick someone in the face.
Energetic is something you should not feel after working out.
Really push yourself next time and see if you still wanna kick someone in the face.

I get it even when I'm pushing myself. I feel exhausted for a few minutes, but then I get energetic, happy, and would not be able to sleep. Might have something to do with psychotic body being messed up, who knows. Most things are switched around.

It's normal. Exercise releases endorphins which make you feel better. That's why exercise is a great thing to do if you're stressed.

Thank you, sir. Was feeling like a crazy person for a bit there.

There's a difference between feeling better and feeling energetic. The "euphoric post-workout glow" I mentioned is the endorphins, but after a good workout I have rubbery limbs and no energy left at all. Sometimes I can barely lift my arms to make a protein shake.
Anyone here ever use adderall when working out? I've had access to it whenever I wanted, and it's always been a huge plus in the motivation dept. Now trying to work out without it is a bit of a challenge. Anyone else been there?

Definitely, but you should be able to recover to a decent level within an hour or so. If you're so incredibly tired even an hour later, then you're most likely overworking yourself which is detrimental to your health.
I always found that having a banana or some other readily digestible nutritious food after a workout brought me back up to speed faster.

Granted, but again there's a big difference between "recover to a decent level after about an hour" and feeling energetic after a few minutes. Anyone feeling the latter is probably not pushing themselves hard enough.
I remember the first time my friends took me to the gym, I was thinking "Wow, this is pretty strenuous" and we were just doing the warm up. They pushed me to the absolute limit - it was the first time I'd ever worked that hard, harder than I thought I could go. It took me a week to recover from it, with the crippling first-time DOMS, but it completely redefined what my limit actually was.

Haha! I did shoulders the other day and it was another workout trying to shower. I love that!

When I shower after working my arms and/or chest, it is noticeably harder to reach parts of my back. Love that feeling.

I never used to, and then once I graduated high school (after doing nothing physical at all during it) I decided to start running since I felt my heart and body overall was weak. After doing that for a while I joined a gym and really can't imagine not working out. I even guilt trip myself when I take a week off. Dunno, I just got into it I suppose.
cool dude.
you should post pics of you running...you know, to show your progress...
