I was just wondering - how about making a label list where record labels are listed and for each label, all the artists involved are also listed beneath them? Or maybe this has already been done...

Why do u want that kinda list? Many artists are/have been under several labels.. it might get confusing. But u can start making one.

Oops, you are right. Way too many artists appear under some labels...but I was thinking about those artists are who actually signed under the label.
