as far as I've seen, some of the girls said they wanted guys who treated them right and a few of them seem to have broken up with their partners that did treat them right. Why?

Actually, recognise is accepted in the countries that are (or were) part of the English Commonwealth. So if you're British, Irish, Scottish, Indian, Australian, Canadian,..., you might as well say "recognise".

Actually, Ive seen it a hundred times before. Even Ive done this. Sure, they might be a great guy and he might treat her right and all that but if theres no chemistry and if you know that its eventually going to end anyways, then why not just move on? Usually these relationships are the ones that end on cordial terms though...
