Juventus played very well in the first 30 minutes of the first half and was very close to score a goal. Zlatan Ibrahimovic was given the chance from start and was very close to score a goal, a very nice and accurate shot from a bad position hit the post and gone out of the line.

David Trezeguet also had a couple of great chances during the first period of the game, but wasn't lucky enough to score a goal. Cottafava saved a goal by heading the ball at goal 2 meters from goal and then shot the ball away. Adrian Mutu had a couple of great freekicks but the ball just couldn't find it's way into the goal and ended 0-0.

It's a very bad result, I know that.

This has been Juventus-signum this season, even though they've always scored, and that's why I always thought Del Piero was so important:

It doesn't matter if he doesn't get the chance to start, but he always scores goals when he gets the chance to play, no matter if he gets 10 minutes of play. He's proved that for sure.

We can easily start comparing the games that Juventus has won with 1-0 and in the last 20 minutes, most of those games has been decided by Del Piero. Unfortunately, He wasn't playing tonight, So we didn't get 3 points, But on the other hand, Milan lost to Lecce which I still have believe in, Well done Mirko, Konan & Giacomazzi, I still believe you can make it.

I'm still very dissapointed in Capello, who took out Camoranesi and he was one of the best players tonight together with Mutu. I still can't believe why he won't take out Vieria when he's playing like shit and losing balls all over the pitch, Just like against Arsenal, and since the 10th day of Italian Serie A (Against Milan).

Now, We need to forget about this game and take the good things with us, Because we have to believe in ourselves and complete the Champions League Quarterfinals against Arsenal on Wednesday.

We have to make up a good plan, and Capello has to change a lot in the system because we've got Camoranesi, Vieria and Zebina gone. This would probably mean that either Chielini or Balzaretti will play. Zambrotta is doing well on his position and I'm sure he can be very good as a leader and important player on Wednesday. He was also pretty good tonight.

I wan't Giannichieda on Vieria's place so we can start playing more flexible. I know he's a defensive player, but I also know of his capacity offensive.

I'm honestly not too worried about the suspensions. Vieira and Camo are expendable. Emerson has arguably been better than Vieira and Nedved has also been performing better than camo these last few weeks. Lets hope Cappello hits the spot with his selection and tactics.

FORZA JUVEEEEEEE!

Viera expendable? You smoking some crack?

I admit Viera had a horrid game vs Arse, but sheesh. Viera is pretty damn good.

I'm afraid he's quite right, Vieria hasn't been good this season and the only period that he was really good was the games before the Milan-game which we lost 3-0.

He's been very bad since then and wasn't impressing anything at all against Treviso, and Treviso sucks, But they still got a point.

Will be very interesting to see how Capello is going to form the team because we've got three players suspended for this encounter. Zebina is pretty easy, Chielini or Balzaretti should start there. Camoranesi can also be exchanged because we've got for an example Mutu, Nedved to play against Arsenal ofcourse.

But the main question to Capello is:

Who's starting instead of Vieria?

Bianconeri is either staying at their system and playing with a player on Patricks position, or they may also be forced to change their system so the players can fit more comfortable. I still would like to see Giannichiedda on Vierias place, I think he can do a good job, even though he's not the most offensive player out there, Time to prove yourself.

Del Piero may be on the bench, because he's been injured since the Roma-game. They're still testing him, and he'll hopefully be on the bench and fit enough to play in the second half, Hopefully.

We need to prove ourselfs on Wednesday-night at Delle Alpi.

Giannichiedda will definately fill Vieira's spot. I think Capello will field this formation:

Ibra-Trez-Mutu
Nedved-Emerson-Giani
Chiellini-Canna-Thuram-Zamboy
Buffon

Del Piero can also be introduced at any point in the game, preferably for Mutu. Never count out Zalayeta either. We all remember his Madrid classic last year and his stunner against Barca 3 years back. The key in this game will be phsycology. If Juve win the mental battle, they'll undoubtedly destroy Arsenal on the field of play. I see no reason why Juve shouldn't win this game 3 nil.

LETS GO JUVE!

Bad news for Juventus:

Alessandro Del Piero isn't going to play the second leg against Arsenal either. It looked pretty promising yesterday after the test-results was done and we were all hoping for a returning Alessandro Del Piero, But it won't happen.

It all looks a little darker on our side, but what can you do when you're having bad luck? Nothing more than fighting together as a team, that's probably the key together with the goalscoring and the midfield.

I still believe we can make it through and I don't want to see Juventus out of the Champions League in the Quarterfinals. We need to score goals on Delle Alpi, and getting a nice start is going to be very important.

On the other hand, I can still see Arsenal play very well defensive and then if they eventually win the ball, keep it and counter attack, Their specialty.

Important:

-Win the midfield battle
-Get past their defence
-Stop Arsenals counterattacks
-Start scoring and stop missing the huge chances we're getting all the time.

Ibrahimovic has to produce now and play well for once. Hasn't done that since Juve vs. Inter-game in February.

History:

1964/65 Fiers Cup 1/2 Finals:
Atletico Madrid-Juventus 3-1, 1-3

1967/68 European Cup Qualification:
Eintracht B.-Juventus 3-2, 0-1

1972/73 European Cup 1/16 Finals:
Marseille-Juventus 1-0, 0-3

1974/75 UEFA Cup 1/32 Finals:
Vorwaerts-Juventus 2-1, 0-3

1975/76 European Cup 1/16 Finals:
CSKA-Juventus 2-1, 0-2

1976/77 UEFA Cup 1/32 Finals:
Manchester City-Juventus 1-0, 0-2

1976/77 UEFA Cup 1/16 Finals:
Manchester U-Juventus 1-0, 0-3

1979/80 Cup Winners Cup 1/8 Finals:
Beroe Stara Z.-Juventus 1-0, 0-3

1981/82 European Cup 1/16 Finals:
Celtic-Juventus 1-0, 0-2

1988/89 UEFA Cup 1/32 Finals:
Oteul Galati-Juventus 1-0, 0-5

1992/93 UEFA Cup Qualification:
Benfica-Juventus 2-1, 0-3

1995/96 Champions League Qualification:
Real Madrid-Juventus 1-0, 0-2

2002/03 Champions League 1/2 Finals:
Real Madrid-Juventus 2-1, 1-3

2004/05 Champions League 1/8 Finals:
Real Madrid-Juventus 1-0, 0-2

2005/06 Champions League 1/8 Finals:
Werder Bremen-Juventus 3-2, 1-2

History is against us, but you need to break that history once and tomorrow is a good time.

No Del Piero? No captain to inspire the team to pull up their shorts and play.

So sorry. Arse wins.

I'll have to admit that Alessandro Del Piero is a very important piece of Juventus, and he's shown it already this season.

Many thought he wouldn't produce like he used to back in the days, but he showed the opposite. Now, I know we've got two important players gone for this game, Vieria and Del Piero is essential to the team.

The captain has shown the way many times, we all remember the fantastic semifinal against Real Madrid back in 2002/2003 where he opened the goalscoring, and we all know of his capacity even though some won't admit it, But I'm cool with it.

Emerson is our strongest leader right now besides Cannavaro or Zambrotta (Captain). He has to win the midfield battle to set up Juventus, so we can win the most important parts of the pitch. I certainly hope Trezegol and Zlatan starts playing well, Nedved is very important to for the game on Wednesday and I hope he can produce, Just like he did against Real Madrid in 2002/2003 Semifinal.

We have to make a amazing appereance to win this, and we better believe we can break the tradition of not clearing up 0-2 messes. I certainly hope we can make it, and I'm hopefull til the last minute of the game.
