ah yeah, i just find it to be similar as when someone is peruvian or puerto rican & they say 'ah yeah mexican!' lol.. same thing with spanish imo.. so i just prefer people saying hispanic/latino.. my ethnicity? spanish lol. my moms family is spanish but she was born in mexico & my dads family are all from spain, as i was little growing up in germany, i spent most of my time with my grandparents & cousins in spain, i try to go every year, this year i saw and stayed with my childhood friend that i hadn't seen in like 7 years 
sometimes i do wish i had more mexican features like my mom.. the dark dark hair, they just looks so exotic, i see lots of mexican girls here on the border & sometimes im like SHITT. very tan, dark hair, dark eyes, very curvy girls.. and sometimes i get confused as just american or they get surprised when they see me speak spanish.
that's my mom in the back, she's very exotic & pretty..& she's lost a lot of weight bc we were in spain at the time & eatting a lot lol.
oh, & if i find it funny to be compared to miami girls is bc i think they're SMOKING hot
