The Nazi's didn't check his trunk either.

I guess we can conclude that Nazi's aren't very smart.

Did anyone else notice when he saw his reflection in the metal vat at the end the reflection looked like Heisenberg, not as he looked at the time?

Jack's gang wasn't aligned, the gun just fired at a level so anyone standing would be hit. Walt looked like he came in the back door, so if the cops were out front, they wouldn't have seen him (kind of flaky still but that's how I saw it). He could cross country without a problem if he wasn't seen in concentrated areas where people weren't talking about him as much.

I agree, not as much fireworks as many people expected like the end of season 4, but I thought it wrapped up well. Best TV in history imo.

Good episode, the scene with Elliot and Gretchen had me in stitches, funniest moment was seeing those two mofos enter his car with the lasers.

It's a good thing the show ended because i was tired of seeing Gilligan's filler scenes and stalling techniques (first 5 minutes of the episode for example).

But surprisingly, a good solid finish unlike all the other great TV shows from the last decade which ended with a fart.

I disagree with it being the best show ever, imo its not better than The Sopranos\The Shield\The Wire , its in the same league but not better.

I don't see why you see any scenes as filler or stalling, when he had to ask AMC if he could extend the final two eps 15 mins each on top of splitting the last season in two so he could add 3 eps overall. He wasn't looking to fill time, he was trying to fit in all that he wanted. I personally never felt like I was waiting unduly.

I haven't seen much of the other two shows you mentioned, but I agree (like many other BB fans do) that The Wire is on the same level. It had a wider scope, involving a whole city, whereas BB had a more intense focus on less characters. I think BB was better at delivering high-impact moments, and subverting expectations, whereas The Wire was more spread out and less intense. I have to say also, that as much as I love The Wire, it was slow as death at times. I gave up on it initially after watching the first season, but thankfully was coaxed back into it by a friend.

I think this ended perfectly, obviously if you wanted to start nitpicking you can definitely do it.
Most critics don't seem to like that this had some kind of a happy ending, as everything pointed to this being a depressing tragedy. I don't give a fuck, I loved it, I loved how Walt's masterplan worked to perfection (even though, as throughout the series, he had some luck, being able to grab those keys, for example). Superb ending and it puts this series slightly above my other favorites - The Twin Peaks, The Wire, Sopranos and Mad Men (doesn't really matter how they finish that one, I don't think it'll be better than BB).
