This was an interesting two tribes for me. It definitely did not have the same feel as previous years, it was probably the rain and my non-interest in the main arenas.
Highlight of my night was in the hardware room. I think I spent most of my time there. I left Vodafone during Schultz, and did not really go back there. Watching Soups cream himself during the set was priceless though. I caught the last of Armin and was exactly what I expected so I was not disappointed in missing him.
The Hardware room was amazing it is such a pity that it was nowhere near packed for the whole night. Although I suppose not having to deal with crowds in there was good. Blackstrobe was awesome and got me really pumped. I did not really get into Callander that much, but Cromack was awesome as usual.
Technasia was the highlight of the night, they rocked like nothing else. Such a pity there was only a small number of people watching. If they had played to a massive crowd the response would have been insane. Seigling is a three deck maestro who just blew me away.
Both Strangis and Millson played good sets, I will continue my ranting about sets being too short as well another time. Dean I want you to play a 2+ hour set.
Finally I hate security and the moronic decisions made throughout the night regarding letting people in were beyond comprehension. Why would you start the DJ playing when there is no one inside the venue?
