You can't get a residency there unless you are employed by someone already there and have a recommendation from the employer.

Really though, moving to Japan will help nothing for the PNW, which I still love. It would be stupid to leave to Japan and live there, and mooch off their success. It would be better to stay here and attempt to make this place a better place to live.
