the only decent mayday that he did, it was the 2000 set
all the other ones are bullshit
although 2003 has 2 good songs, the other ones are pure crap

i'm going to have to disagree wholeheartedly...
i thought mayday 2002 was GREAT.
i love that set and still listen to it. mixing is good and the song selection may have been a little mainstream for the time being, but its cool because those are some great tracks and i still like em.
the 2003 set is decent at most by song selection (though i love we are connected, i feel like no one can possibly actually like indigo except that they are fc fans), but the mixing is worse than not so hot. i feel like i shouldnt be able to spot when hes catching records up or droppin in new bass, but you definitely can on this mix. I also disagree. 1999 excellent, 2000 was one of my all time fav sets, 2001 was good tune wise, mixing was wank but we all no why that was, 2002 was amazing, and 2003 again was good tune wise but gash mixing. Ive enjoyed all maydays and will def be at 2004 if all goes to plan

I disagree on that, the 2000 set was superb, this one well... I enjoy it (except some mixing)

alright, a little tip for you people who are arguing (spelling?) about the playlist. goto the official pvd website. www.paulvandyk.de
they have the official playlist, so u can trust on them.
second: The breaks was because of 20,000 people jumping, it could have made his vinyl rumble a little...just a possibility, not exactly sure tho....or probably pvd didn't get enough sleep on the flight....
i thought the set was good, but not as good as the columbiahalle set...but it's still one of my favorites. The mixing didn't bother me at all but i notice it.

mayday 2000 is paul`s best mayday set followed by 2002. the others are just ok.

firstly there playlists are always wrong. there are very often massive mistakes, and sometimes pvd puts unknown when he doesnt want us to no its one of his reworks etc. However in this case, if u read at the top it says "Paul van Dyk`s Set @ Mayday 2003 (unofficial)" and the reason for this is because it was submitted by a member of TA.com.

I gotta agree with what most of you seem to feel, which is that the 2000 set is one of the all time greats, and I don't just mean PVD, but since SL1200s were introduced!!!
Last years set was an absolute stormer, this set is way below par tho, track selection is not so hot and definitely not cutting edge, and also his mixing sucks.
2001 sucked all around IMHO.
Never heard 1999, but I would very much like to after hearing his drink was spiked Who are your sources on this Mikey? I really would like to know more about such an incident if it did in fact occur
