Got to hear it a couple times to really enjoy. Its a good track but cant really put it up against nothing.( I try not to compare tracks, other than remixes anyway) Its got a Holden vibe to it for sure, but I don't think it was made to give off the same feeling as nothing. In fact I see it as almost an opposite, but I do think to much. I don't know if it would win tune of the year, but it definitely has a lot of feeling in it.
The track has a dark flow. The pace is nice, feels like being out late at night or really early morning. Once the break in the clouds comes, its dark, but intriguing. Like you found something in the night that you just don't see during the day, nothing really big or important but just different enough to make you notice. It only happens for a short time but its still enough to make you think or smile. In a minute The thoughts gone but the feeling remains as you continue down the street. I really like the song, the whole thing was done very well IMO.
Nothing on the other hand is more fast pace with light flow. It does have a mysterious vibe to it but in a different sense. Putting any two tracks up against each other is flawed to begin with, especially these two great ones. In the end it always comes down to personal preference, and personally I think both tracks ride the fuck out.
Anyways doubt it would ever get track of the year but I like it so, thats all that i care about.
