Ok, I misinterpret. As for the thread, is it for real? Cause I find it amusing. The glowstick comment is great! I don't listen to KTU much, and I don't know how the radio staion works. So I'll take your word for it that they suck. But what do you think of other radio stations playing popular trance? Say, the Party93 station in Miami? Do you support what they do? What about Kiss100 where Digweed plays? And Armin's ASOT station, ID&T? I think of the dutch station 938 too? What about these? Don't they "commercialize" trance also? I think Armin's ASOT plays popular trance, I use the word "popular" loosely though. And I won't even touch how much these dj's make. Aren't promoters killing trance too? Or are you one of the many here that pay $50+ for a PvD party? In summary, I agree with you that KTU is bad, but I think trance can find a place on the radio. I look at house as an example. It is quite mainstream, maybe more so in the UK and France. But they seem to be putting out quality house tracks. Can't trance be as popular as house without losing quality? Any thoughts? | There is a BIG difference between Europe and the States with regards to music. Party 93.1 is ok, they have a few good shows but the rest is crapola. I think a radio-station with a better format, might get my support. Its just that I really don't like having ATRC lumped together with Jay-Z and Spears, and all of those other jackasses...
