Paul wasn't using Final Scratch, he was downloading music off the hub.
Anyways... overall, I thought the Centrqal Park event was cool. It was nice to be outside, with the perfect weather, and have Paul spin for 4 hours. The crowd was a nice mix, not too many meatheads or crackheads, although I almost stepped on some crackheads lying down. The only disppointing aspect was Paul's set. He didn't build up the set at all, and playing the same tracks twice was a bit lame. He also had some sloppy blends in between songs. I think he tried to start with a more laid back summer approach, but he seemed to react to the restlessness of the crowd, so he threw in some of his own productions. The sound seemed to be turned down for some reason, and that didn't help either. I still think it was a success, and I'd like to see an all day party there, with more DJ's.

Hmm a lot of mixed reviews. I personally had a fabulous time! I really enjoyed his set. Not much dancing room but I wasn't complaining. Highlights of the night for me were, James Holden - Nothing, Airwave - Breathing, PVD - Nothing But You, Raphie B - Massive, Blackeight - The Silence!!! WOOHOO!
Great meeting the new Ta's, Vlad, Sandstorm, and Indy! and always great seeing Alex, Tom, Lisa, Rick, Daniella, Brianna, Jay, Jonathan, Chris, Matt, Freeza!, Nube, Shannon, Brian, Teddy, Ian, and last but definitely not least, John! My friend Anastasia really enjoyed meeting all of you! She says hello!
