Listening to VDM's material, I feel that
my musical tastes and experiences "grow"
while with DJ Tiesto, I just hear his
music, and think to myself "okay ...not bad.
Cool. Okay"

With Paul Oakenfold, his stuff is beyond
Tiesto's ... more interesting and ground
breaking.

If I had to pick between the two, I feel
Oakenfold outclasses Tiesto ... but Tiesto
is much more the "showman" live in concert,
vs. Oakie.

Oakey's stuff more groundbreaking? Perhaps if you said that ten years ago that would be a valid statement, but in the 21st century Tiesto IS the avant-garde in trance, especially in the movements that are dominated by the Dutch sound. Hands down, no competition.
