porter was good, i liked the stuff he played a lot, he really has a unique sound going, but it felt too much like a warmup set and nothing like the hard killer set i was expecting from him... i'm sure MV remedied that though... anyways, i left early on, around 2am i think... |
Ya I remember you leaving and saying you were gonna be back!
Anyways you missed the better half of Porters set man! I agree the first half of the set was like a "Warm-Up" for Porter. I have seen him absolutley tear it up before and in my opinion he didn't do so until the last hour. Weird transition to MV as the two styles clash and Marty should have opened and Porter should have closed. Oh well none-the-less it was a very fun night (and weekend).
Got to meet many of you who I recognized from the pics, and Jon and Tara blew my "cover". Happy B-day Endlesswave, looked like you were having a good one. Glad I also met the rest of you and good to see the same old TA's I see at all the parties
Tara and Matt - The two nicest people in the club! Got to catch a little of Matt in the VIP room and this guy def'n has the talent! Scandal in NY is a sick sick track Tara, I have to agree! Check your PM. Cute Sister
trancegeek - wish you could have stayed man, it got better but still glad to see you back home. We still have to have beers!
Man I should have started this shout out list at work....
Halo - you nut bar.....should I mention it?? Hahaha!!! Oh god that was the funniest thing. Anyways it was a pleasure to meet you and listening to my nonsense blabbering. My new dance partner indeed!
StereoPrincess - You were one of the people I met at the start of the night and can remember cause I saw you a couple times through-out the night. Cheers.
dEsidEL - remember meeting you at the start of the night as well. I guess it was the whole Endlesswave b-day crew!! So shout outs to you all.
trancearmada and mecha - Where the fuck were you guys?? I didn't see you and I was up front and center.
Also kept an eye out for Dea but I now see that you didn't show....
There I think that covers it, sorry if I missed anyone else but it is hard meeting that many new people on a night like that.
Next party is MAX @ SYSTEM. Be there.
