A decent tune, in fact I generally really like Mr Sam productions so it was good to hear this one, but nothing really makes me feel like listening to it again so I'll have to give it the thumbs down. I feel it was a bit short, had he drawn it out a bit more and built it up more gradually (as in his remix of Guide Me God, for example) I might have reconsidered. Still though, as I said not a bad tune.

Overall it's a very nice tune, with slick production quality and nice synths. I happened to like the like the vocals too. Only reason why it gets negative from me is because it lacks that beautiful breakdown in the Mekka vs Trouser Enthusiasts Mix, and doesn't really seem vastly different other than that. Same case with the Rob Searle and Solar Stone remixes.

Short description of what I like:

The top above shows mainly two of my favourite styles: late 90's deep trance that Sasha & Digweed played to death and included in their compilations; dark progressive trance, usually released on Bonzai Trance Progressive or the stuff Platipus used to put out a couple years ago. But my tastes are a lot wider than that: it goes from Adam Beyer's techno to recent prog house/breaks passing by some (not much) uplifting. so it shouldn't be too hard to please me oh, and i usually prefer instrumentals to vocals, but that's not a rule (see all time fav)

a lot more like it.. the dark feel of it is very good, also is the psy bassline. i didn't like much the mission-impossible-ish guitar, and the worst thing are the racing samples, even if they're not present a lot. very close to a thumbs up.

I like mostly uplifting and techtrance, but I have an open mind for every genre. The melody is the most important thing in a song, and I really like those with epic, complex and sad melodies like Geert Huinink's; but there are also those rare and simple melodies that have some kind of magical effect (like Nyana, Lost Vagueness, The Eternal, Razorfish)
