Ummmmmmmm yeah it's a good tune (that remix). I mean I have the vinyl also but he really didn't do much to the tune. If he did I'd be very annoyed...

when g&b started their set with this song at ultraspin, everyone in the koolhaus went nuts!! it was sweet. and to hear them tease it in again halfway during their set, was like icing on the cake!
i totally love the lyrics.
i can't believe i missed that event... i've heard so many good things about it... i hope they come back before 2004 is over... i know they'll have another big production year... they can do no wrong... i always look out for they're tracks

and 'beautiful things'...even though some might say its cheesy, i love that song, 'specially the vocals.
steve.

personally 99% of the time i'm really against vocals of most sort. especially female vocals that have a strong tendency to become cheesy real quick. exaples:
matt darey-wanna be an angel ( gross )
oceanlab-satellite (will wear down on me eventually)
Dubs or pure non vocal tracks is what i mainly look for. in terms of appreciating vocals though, tunes like:
green velvet-flash
blackwatch vs quivver-loveless
pqm-you are sleeping
anything with jan johnston/sarah mclachlan
is great. i alsot like it if the artist is creative and adds in quotes from movies or something like
Lost Tribe-gamemaster
space manoevres-stage 1
but then again, not many of those types of tunes are around much...

Masters & Nickson ft. Justine Suissa - Out There
Dirty Bass - Emotional Soundscape
Rank 1 - Symsonic (Dumonde remix)
Infusion - Legacy (Junkie XL Mix)
Boss@Nova - Stone Cold
Kyau vs Albert - Velvet Morning (Aalto remix)
Orbital - Halcyon & On & On
EVERYTHING Underworld
Armin van Buuren ft. Justine Suissa - Burned With Desire (Rising Star Mix) (altho the lyrics are kind of weak)
Rank 1 - Such Is Life (Original Vocal Mix)
Sun Decade - I'm Alone (Mirco de Govia remix)
Adam Freeland - We Want Your Soul

Agnelli and Nelson pres. Ultra - Holding on to Nothing
"Standing in the rain
Twisted and INSANE!!!!
WE, ARE, HOLDING ON TO NOTHING.
Feeling Every Breath,
Holding no regrets.
We're still looking out for something"
I'm gonna get sick of this song before I ever get a chance to hear this destroy a dancefloor near me.
PS. Cor Fijneman ft. Anita Kelsey - Healing =
Hot "new" vocal stormahs.
Fave trance vocalist = Maria Nayler mmmm "Be as One" and "Angry Skies."!!

Be As One is one of the few tracks by Sasha I don't like too much, heh.
I don't really care whether I song has vocals or not; if it comes together well then I like it. Unfortunately there's not many Trance songs nowadays that fall into this category (eg. Holding On To Nothing...no offence to the people that like it, but the vocals suck imo).
Songs worth mentioning include;
Perception
Everytime
Illuminate (Charlie May mix)
Hybrids mix of Tears From The Moon
Walking On Fire
...there's a few more but I can't remember.
As for songs that don't have any singing but "humming" and the sort;
Baja
That Chicane song which I can't remember the name of
Halcyon and On and On

^^^ Chicane - Saltwater ? vocalist from Clannad is on that track. btw, Chicane never ceases to amaze me and deserves far more recognition and exposure. Anyone that can put out a cool track with Bryan Adams singing deserves respect!
Many D&B tracks I like have vocals too Aphrodite feat. Wildflower - See Thru It (from the Aftershock CD)...great example of WICKED music coupled with stong vocals.

Unkle - In a State
my favorite right now (eventho its male vocals which are usually horrible.)
