Reminds me of my last ever A Level, was Politics and due to another (more important lol) exam we were all in the private study room. Anyway half way through the exam I realise I’d forgotten to hand my phone in at reception as I normally did before my other exams because they were in the hall. I went pale, ran a cold sweat and nearly fainted. I tried to turn to slip my hand in my pocket and turn it off but every time I tried one of the invigilators would suddenly decide to walk past my seat. I spent the rest of the exam praying the phone would not ring.
England seems to be well strict compared to other countries with exams. If you get caught, or suspected, of cheating in an external exam not only will they tear up your exam, but all the results from that particular exam board will also be struck off and in serious cases all your exams. Cheating in internal exams on the other hand is fair game...teehee
