Oh my, some right flashback material in this thread. It probably started off at some mates of mine who had C64s. Played Mickey Mouse, Astrix, Joust, Barbarian and tons of other tapes I can't remember. The colour cascades at the "now loading" screens, "press play on tape" etc. are all still a fond childhood memory for me.
Later I finally nagged my dad long enough to get me a NES, and from that point I was sold. Some titles I can recall:
Super Mario Bros 3 (one of the best games ever regardless of console IMO)
Excite Bike
Little Samson (extremely absurd japanese thingy, I don't think many people ever noticed it much except for me, but it was probably one of the most psycho and out there games I've ever played on NES)
Zelda I and II
Little Nemo In Slumberland
Megaman I to IV
Double Dragon II
Gold Medal Challenge '92 (oh dear, poor controllers)
Time to hit the emulator again..
