As for the song.

First time I heard it on ASOT I was kinda like "this is really simple and not that interesting" and promptly forgot about it.

Then I heard it on the next ASOT, and I was like "hey I recognize this song, this was the best song from the last ASOT! I wonder what its called..."

Yes its ultra repetetive in the same way tracks like "Scorchio" are, but hey Scorchio was great, and so is this!

Not really.
The thing about good repetitive tracks is that there are always some subtle fx and stuff going on underneath that you don't really notice until you take a better look. This, on the other hand, has nothing. And the hook is boring too.

too repetitive, main melody lacks for something that is repeated over and over. Im a huge fan of Markus and love all his work, but this tune lacks. maybe it was Austin Leeds' influence
