omfg- I just fell off the charts.
Age is a number- that is all. You may generalize all you want but dont leave the exceptions out.

If I had a 15yr old daughter and found out she was dating a 21 yr old, I'd get my shotgun ready!

However I'm being hypocritical here because I been in similar situations and know a thing or two about robbing the cradle.

Right now to me, age is just a number. There is a 7 year age difference between my boyfriend and I (he's 27 and I'm 20 just to clarify things) We have the best relationship ever! I'm so in love with him and I couldn't even imagine being with our him.

But I couldn't picture myself being with him when I was 15 and he was 23 (I know there's only a 5 year different b/c you guys) I have grown up sooooo much in just 5 years and I have changed SO MUCH, so chances are she will too. It could be for better or worse.

You said that you haven't been able to stay with any girls for a lengthy period of time because they begin to drive you nuts, well I personally think that if you do try to persue this relationship, you will be in a nuthouse!!

I'm not a TOTA, and my apologies if I am intruding, I just happened to be checking the LoL roll call (since I'm on it) to see if anyone was added when I saw this thread.

The only reason I am commenting is because of this post:

When I was 16 I dated a 23 year old, and when I was 17 I started dating a 24 year old. We lasted until I was nearly 19 and he was nearly 26. We had a great relationship through and through, but as they do, some relationships just don't work out.

However, all of his friends and he himself, would comment on how remarkable it was that I was 7 years younger than all of them. But, my entire life I've been known to not be around children my age. Do to the fact that we traveled a lot, I was always with adults. My brother is 8 years older than I, and I usually hung out with his friends (I'm actually living with him now). My three closest friends now are 25, 28, and 23.

However, I was one of the rare ones. My ex of nearly two years could not stand to be around some of my friends due to their immaturity level (in fact, neither could I). My parents were very accepting because they had always known that I would date older guys due to my upbringing and how I distanced myself from people my age.

If I had to recommend an older guy to date anyone that is my age that I know, I would tell them to go a'runnin'. How anyone can handle their immaturity is beyond me.

Think about yourself two years ago... have you changed from 19 to 21? Most likely. Imagine this girl. She hasn't even graduated High School... do you want to go to her prom?? (On that note, I didn't go to ANY prom because I found them ridiculous, so that solved the problem of my 7 year older boyfriend going). 15 is nearly five years ago... Geez, even I was still immature when it came to handling problems.

I don't know mate, it's up to you... but even coming from someone who's always dated older guys... 15 is pushing it way too much.
