I'm going to add Yahel - Voyage, because I saw it on the iVibes 'classic of the week'. That track's ahead of its time - boring ASOT-style trance before the days of ASOT

^^ Agreed, never understood what's so special about that one, probably the only boring track on Magik 6.

Robert Miles - Children
Although I like Tilt's 1998 remake of this, the original is a very simple production and was nothing original even in 1995.

Never was a big fan of As the Rush Comes.
Also, while they aren't classics yet, everyone seems to love these tracks but I don't like them:
Young Parisians and Ben Lost - Jump the Next Train
Interstate - I Found U

im in a drafting and 3d modeling class and the teacher likes "techno" and thats like the class song. everyone loves it and they always play "techno" and no matter how much i tell them its trance, they tell me i dont know what im talkin about. ive given that teacher like 15 CDs of live sets and stuff, and they still listen to nothing but sandstorm and that "techno" remix of ode to joy
Give them real techno. Then they're gonna say it's trance!

Some of you people are insane. But I suppose most anyone could say that in this thread.
Anywho, Out Of The Blue. I just don't get it. It's standard uplifting, mediocre at best. I mean, for god's sake, Ferry (co)produced Carte Blanche around the same time. The riff always came off as trite to me. I've given it chances. Really, I have.

you call people insane for their opinions when i think you're insane for your opinion on out of the blue so it goes both ways doesn't it?
