if you're a good friend, you would've told her about abortion.

Thats a personal decision, and one must repect those that choose not to for moral or personal reasons. Some girls can move on, and some will be left wondering 'what if' for the rest of their life, so I certainly wouldn't be giving 'you should do this' speeches.

Its a tough situation that you can talk about forever but you will only know how you will react when it actually happens.

You're right a good friend must accept her decision.

But its also your duty as a friend to tell her about the consequences of being a single mom. Giving advices to your friend is essential.

Ah, she is a smart girl, like most women, and is big enough to make her own decisions.

I find that with touchy subjects like abortion, its a huge life decision, and everybody is quick to give advice without knowing at all what it would be like. I tend to not give so much advice, support is more important.

She is under no illusions.

Good Topic:

For the guys who your ex never leave you alone. Call it quit for good, just don't talk to her. Leave her alone for a while, I mean "a while". A year is "a while". Everything will be sweet. And please don't get involve with her girlfriends, they will word bitchslap you. Because you are wrong no matter what you say.

For the ladies who your ex is trying to leave you alone. Leave him alone. You are better off without him. Life is a long journey. Don't need to be looking for just one subject. It will emotionally distract you from everything.

I am doing the first one right now.

Fellas comments, ladies, bitchslaps??? Just kidding.

Your comments are welcome.

i know that if i got pregnant, and the father automatically assumed i would get an abortion would make me mad.
so i respect your opinion in the sense that its the person's choice. its a very hard thing to go through for most girls, unless they're huge sluts and dont give a shit about life.

i had a scare once, when i was showing a lot of the right signs of pregnancy but wasnt positive and was too chicken to do a test. My boyfriend was very muchly there for me, making sure i know he's there in it together with me and if anytrhing happens he'll help and wont run off, BUT at the same time he assumed theres only one way out of it and thats abortion. it made me a little upset, but i guess it was because he and i never talked about what we might do IF anything like pregnancy should happen.

I agree with spec. Support is more important than advice, IMO, because people often tend to take other people's advice and neglect thinking it out for themselves, and evaluating what would really be best for them.

but sometimes you're so into your own little bubble and too short sighted that you need advice.

trust me, everyone needs advice, especially a pregnant and single young female.

advice first, choice, then support.

Yeah fair points...but I know alot of people who listen to others lopsided opinions when they should have been listening to their own heart...and they ended up worse off...
