1. It's more of a team game on the college level than the one on one isolation plays. As a result, the flow of the game is smoother.

2. At the college level, the fans are much more into it than at the NBA level. Sing song chants are a part or just about every college b-all game.

3. There is nothing like March Madness

you make good points....but I dont think those reasons are good enough to like over the NBA.

Theres a reason why college players dont do isolation, cause the talent just isnt there, thats why college teams need to play in a zone all the time.Anyways its not like the NBA is only one on one slow down kinda play.Dont get me wrong I like how in college you have to fight your way in a zone to get a nice shot, but I prefer the combination of 1on1 and zone in the NBA better .You can watch the last 2 minutes of a college game and its like youve seen the entire game,In the NBA its cool to see the whole game at times because you sometimes see stuff you never seen before. The NBA has great players and they make great plays.

Theres nothing wrong with chants,I do agree that gives college basketball the excitement it needs, butI could care less about it,Im only interested in the games not the fans.I Find the chants that lets say Duke do are annoying.Anyways at Heat games we got a couple of chants at Heat games when the refs make a bad call "Bullshit!, Bullshit!..... and "Ref you suck!"....
thats good enough

Theres alot of sporting events better than March Madness, but I guess it just depends on your preference of sport.

Rivalrys in the NBA are much better as well,in college most of the players leave after like one or 2 years, the rivalrys are maintained by the fans loyalty to their schools and the actual basketball is just the icing. In the NBA the rivalrys include much more fans as well as they involve citys even states,In collge only the actual students or alumniand hardcore college fans get into it.
Also In the NBA the players stay longer in their teams and generate great rivalrys like the old Celtics-Lakers in the 80s,the Knicks -Heat in the late 90s,Bulls-Knicks early 90s and Bulls-Pistons late 80s into 90s,Kings-Lakers not to long ago,Pistons Pacers now lol.Theres more rivalrys in the NBA of course but I forget. The only college rivalry that might compare is UNC vs Duke,id watch that game over pretty much any NBA game.

Again I like both styles of basketball, but I'm into the NBA more.Just my opinion.
Vern maybe if the Knicks had a better team youd like the NBA more .... haha just kidding

i don't know what you guys are complaining about with bad teams .. we here have the new orleans hornets .. we suck!! .. i was upset on the first second when i heard the charlotte bobcats were going to be the new expansion team .. because i knew the hornets would be forced to move from east to west, and who doesn't want to move to the west .. the west are nothing but savaged beasts ready to eat you alive.. the golden state warriors or portland trail blazers (arguably the bad teams, but ahead of the hornets) have the opportunity to beat either indiana or detroit (best teams of the east)..

Don't put the Warriors and the Trail-Blazers in the same sentence please!
The Blazers are in the 8th place in the west ahead of Memphis and Huston.

And i think that the whole East-West system in the league is stupid,i dont understand why a 30 wins team in the east is a playoff metirial team while a 40 wins team in the west is abuse metirial only.

Stern should definetly do something cuz the west is only getting stronger whle the east in getting worse and worse.

i agree .. i think the nfl (for first time) did an excellent job with their division seperations by making the national and american conference, and having a north, south, east, and west divisions in each conference ..

at least the nba would split the evil texas trio, and the double trouble california (lakers and sacramento).. and the florida duo (miami and orlando)

haha yea Falcons in the west that was some shit
and the Arizona Cardinals used to be in the NFC EAST

guys remember the NFC has sucked this year and 8-8 maybe even an 7-9 team might make the playoffs. The NFC and the NBA eastern confrence are just going through a phase right now, they both ruled the leagues in the 90s.

ditto.. the nfc looks bright with philadelphia in the next couple of years, and detroit, arizona, minnesota, new orleans ( if they can ever get themselves straight), and possibly new york in the nfc for the next 3 or 4 years if they keep their teams intact .

the afc looks good, but will grow old in two years ..

and the Falcons will be a superbowl contender for years to come.
haha this used to be a ron artest fight thread
I cant see the Cardinals or Saints being any good. The Panthers still have a pretty good bunch, injurys really hurt them this year.As for the NBA east it just depends on if they draft tough big guys and whom they trade for.

the Cardinals are on the rebuilding stage .. next year they will have a top 5 defense .. dennis green is doing an awesome job with their defense right now..

the Saints need to be pointed to the right direction .. i see that they will get their man (or men) next year .. they need to spruce up on the linebackers and fatten their line, and they're set .. cornerbacks and safeties are good .. for one thing, their cornerbacks look good .. they haven't been giving up the big plays to wide receivers like in the past ..

as for the NBA East, things look kind of bright, especially with Orlando and Miami spicing it up a little bit .. Dwight Howard is a monster in Orlando right now .. didn't he almost get a 20-20 the other night?
