you make good points....but I dont think those reasons are good enough to like over the NBA.
Theres a reason why college players dont do isolation, cause the talent just isnt there, thats why college teams need to play in a zone all the time.Anyways its not like the NBA is only one on one slow down kinda play.Dont get me wrong I like how in college you have to fight your way in a zone to get a nice shot, but I prefer the combination of 1on1 and zone in the NBA better .You can watch the last 2 minutes of a college game and its like youve seen the entire game,In the NBA its cool to see the whole game at times because you sometimes see stuff you never seen before. The NBA has great players and they make great plays.
Theres nothing wrong with chants,I do agree that gives college basketball the excitement it needs, butI could care less about it,Im only interested in the games not the fans.I Find the chants that lets say Duke do are annoying.Anyways at Heat games we got a couple of chants at Heat games when the refs make a bad call "Bullshit!, Bullshit!..... and "Ref you suck!"....
thats good enough
Theres alot of sporting events better than March Madness, but I guess it just depends on your preference of sport.
Rivalrys in the NBA are much better as well,in college most of the players leave after like one or 2 years, the rivalrys are maintained by the fans loyalty to their schools and the actual basketball is just the icing. In the NBA the rivalrys include much more fans as well as they involve citys even states,In collge only the actual students or alumniand hardcore college fans get into it.
Also In the NBA the players stay longer in their teams and generate great rivalrys like the old Celtics-Lakers in the 80s,the Knicks -Heat in the late 90s,Bulls-Knicks early 90s and Bulls-Pistons late 80s into 90s,Kings-Lakers not to long ago,Pistons Pacers now lol.Theres more rivalrys in the NBA of course but I forget. The only college rivalry that might compare is UNC vs Duke,id watch that game over pretty much any NBA game.
Again I like both styles of basketball, but I'm into the NBA more.Just my opinion.
Vern maybe if the Knicks had a better team youd like the NBA more .... haha just kidding
