That vid was a great little appetizer for my effects/scratching appetite.
I was going to stick with vinyl only, but cdjs might be on my xmas list.
I like the effects unit too, I'll have to wait for the upgraded ones to come out, or see if I can get a used one thats still in good shape.

Head guy of pio sales said the djm1000 will sell for around 3800 american in a NAMM video.
What new info do you want for the efx1000? It costs a thousand american, has better sound quality than the efx500. Has 4 new effects, and 2 new beat ranges (1/8 and 8/1) Lacks the isolators that the efx500 has.

Besides the efx500 is not being replaced by the 1000 so dont expect the efx500s to be blown out, and the efx1000s to quickly come down to their price.
In fact to reinforce this point pioneer is releasing a new model of the efx500 (the efx500R) just to say "this unit is still in production"
