I personally don't view hitting women as any form of acceptable behaviour, and I don't believe I would stay in a relationship that had sunk to such a low point that I would consider it, or even have started one in the first place with someone so volatile as to make me want to hit them.
That all sounds good, but I'm sure that all of us have dated in the past, and this applies to guys and girls, people that are mentally unstable. I've been punched by girls, and had some pretty awful things happen to me which have forced me to be a bit revengeful, but violence has never entered my mind at all. In fact when being hit I suggest they do it again if that makes them feel better and they usually stop.
