congrats to the pats on a job well done .. nothing too flashy .. nothing too dominant .. they just proved to be the better team than philadephia, and one main thing is not losing the turnover battle .. if you're going to throw 3 ints (mcnabb .. damn him .. oh well), you're going to lose to the pats ..
and also a big congrats to deion branch .. three years ago, i knew this guy had talent, and considered him at best a top 20 wide receiver .. after last year's super bowl performance, i was impressed with his talents, and considered him a top 10 wideout ..
after last night, i now consider him in the elite top 5 receivers group .. this guy is guaranteed money if you want someone dependable and durable .. what's the difference between him and the likes of chad johnson, darrell jackson, laverneus coles, amani toomer, and joey porter .. many postseason catches and two super bowl rings .. proves it doesn't matter what you do in the regular season .. it all matters what you do in the postseason .. and that's what deion branch has done ..

Not quite sure why you think the Eagles defense is underrated. They've been known to be one of the Top 5 defenses in the NFL the past few years. And Jim Johnson is arguably the best defensive coordinator in the league. Then again I'm biased because I live in the area. |
the "team" gets recognized, but jim johnson doesn't receive as much credit as he should with the defense .. of course monty kiffen, marvin lewis, herman edwards, and tony dungy will get their credit, and they deserve it .. but jim johnson's name should be in the mix of coaching candidacies .. unless if andy reid has him on the lockdown .. hahahaha ...
