Thanks for the input tripppin. Due to this post, i am no longer going to Cancun. I am selling my ticket, and since i only have two days to get rid of it, its going cheap guys. But i doubt you'll want to go. The clubs suck. And really, whats a vacation without a superclub!? I mean i could go for the beaches, girls, hot weather, great food, free booze, ocean, palm trees, drunken adventures, etc. - but bottomline....the clubs suck. I think i'll just give my ticket to a homeless guy, since he'd probebly be the only one to appretiate what Cancun has to offer (being a bum and all). *sigh*
Oh well, I'm off to Acapulco on the 16th of Feb..and London, UK before that!! So I won't complain!

See this is the kind of stupidity i'm talking about...
If you go to a place with crystal blue water, beautiful weather and an amazing beach and complain the dj's suck, then you're going for the wrong reason..
i've bene to cancun 5 times, most recently for christmas and new years this year, and it was probably the best time i've had there.. the place was full of relaxed and friendly people.. we didn't do the City thing for new years because i knew what it would be like...

Btw...the city is awesome!!!! i saw johan gielen there in august and really enjoyed it...yes i was shocked wiht the tables set up...but on the bright side, they made a dancefloor tarmac fall from the cieling that sits on the bar. thats a nice view to watch. We stayed at Riu Cancun 5* (fuckin awesome hotel) you will love it man, this dude obviously had a bad experience if he says a place sucked because he didn't like a club.

well it sounded to me he based his whole trip on the "clubbing experience". i do enough clubbing here in toronto.....im going to cancun to PARTY. period.
Del was right - pictures were an after-thought the second we arrived. What an amazing vacation. I did take a few pics, but i need to develop and scan those puppies first. I dont have a fu@kin clue what the pics are of though.
