no.. i've just always enjoyed their shit. i do suppose they cant be added to the same list as most mentioned, although i still think they're great at what they do

i'll +1 James Holden, Chicane, The Orb, Leftfield, Way Out West, Oliver Lieb, Luke Chabel, Sasha and Orbital although i dont feel like going into detail why... i think we all know

i've gone down the route of more recent trance producers:

Ferry Corsten: so many of the classic trance anthems are to do with this man in his many guises: System F, Verracocha, Gouryella, Ferry Corsten remixes.

Solarstone- Been around a relatiuvely long time in trance, responsible for good tracks in the 90s epitimised by Seven Cities through to one of the best tracks of 2003 - Solarcoaster.

Lange- Again has been around a while from his earlier remixes of Lost Witness and still producing quality records particulalry under his Firewall guise

You should also listen to Michael Cretu & Jens Gad's side project Trance Atlantic Air Waves, under which they've done loads of varying remakes of old synth classics like Magic Fly, Axel F, Crockett's Theme,... and have got a handful of great remixers to the remakes as well.

Digital Witchcraft are great! however, i think those are a little new to be in this list? it's not like they are pioneers or something.

I think I'd go for Jean Michael Jarre, Brian Eno, or Oliver Lieb. Maybe Underworld. There are some artists whose individual tracks I like more, but they don't have the longevity and consistency of the above artists.
