Saw the repeat at 2 am. I really hate how the main reason kids run into this shit is because of lack of attention from parents. I felt like kicking the girls Dad in the face for just dropping by her place, and just leaving when she said she's gonna have a drink. What a fucking masterpiece. And she was right when she told him in his face that he left her Mom most likely because he wanted some better chicks. With an attitude like that, he didn't deserve to be a father at that time.
Most of this shit is because of distant parents. I can't even imagine having kids right now because of all the time I want to spend at work or having fun from time to time. No time for kids, and God willing I won't have any until I'm good and ready to dedicate 60% of my time to them.
And during the intervention, when she asked her Mom to move over to LA and live closer to her, and the Mom says, "You know I can't do that." And then these selfish pricks want to send her to rehab, which is the right thing for her, but even better would be for her family to TRULY rally around her and sacrifice jobs or houses, IF THEY WANT TO SEE THEIR DAUGHTER TRULY RECOVER. In my culture you give up EVERYTHING for your family, and that's how you get over these kinds of humps. It really sickened me (not the drugs and her animalistic behaviour, but the parents' lack of responsibility in their relationship with Christy) so I turned it off.
But whoa, when she was just walking around inside and outside totally naked, and throwing and spitting food around, it was pretty shocking. The father just leaves her in that shithole instead of having her move into his house and making her live by certain rules.
Maybe she'd run away, but the father's gotta keep chasing her and make it a 9-5 job to bring his daughter back, IF HE REALLY CARES.
