That's what afterhours is all about. Montreal does afterhours better than anyone this side of the Atlantic. Boa and Aria are the same way though, no alcohol, but great crowds, and killer music.

yea, people there dance like it's their jobs, very rarely seen a crowd go as nuts... im sure the drugs help too
as for everyone being gay, i found there was one section of the club
(maybe a 1/3, on the right facing the booth??) that was straight... and the girls THERE???
lets just say, i love montreal
have yet to check out aria and circus (and over to TO for boa and the guv), but there's always next time! im in love with parties in canada

If you go on a night when it's a circuit DJ spinning [Morales, Tom Stephan, Victor Calderone etc] then the club is almost 100% gay guys. But seriously, the atmosphere in that club is unreal, and yes the girls that do go are phenominal. Aria is also a wicked club, it books a greater variety of acts, and it's crowd is far more straight, and the girls are good looking in that club too. and another thing about that club is their main resident DJ, Preach. Holy crap that guy is wicked, couple weeks ago for montreal's big party called bal en blanc, he opened for tiesto and made him look like a chump from what I'm told.
I haven't been to circus, simply because I never need to go anywhere else when I'm in Montreal.
I haven't been to Space in Miami, but from what I hear, our club 'the guvernment'is very similar. Ours is bigger, but it's got the same 'superclub' label attached to it. Overcrowding, and a management out just to squeeze as much cash out of the club patrons as possible, makes it nothing special. They have been getting a little better recently because Boa's giving them competition. Boa on the other hand is like a combination of Stereo and Aria, just a rediculous club. Next time you're up here partying, check those places out!
