The MODS need to clean this thread up a bit by deleting everything maxtuh has said, and all the responses people have given to his petulant remarks. This thread should be about the passing of a man that millions of people looked up to -- not a bored little boy.

He was a great man and a great leader who did things most popes would never do like, bring harmony between all religions, play pivitol role in the fall of communism and political issues and Acknowledging and asking for forgiveness for the lack of a role the church took in the holocost,etc,etc,etc.

I just read the entirety of this thread, and whoa i'm a bit shocked -- i'm entirely not religious let alone Catholic, but JPII was a great man.
