Like cliff climbing without ropes is bad at 12 and so is playing chicken with cars, without a car.

One thing I'd say though is I was from a rural area and afew people I know died doing silly stuff with cars. And when you see the parents going past your house on christmas day to put flowers at the frozen hard ground it really makes you think.

Lifes a balance between risk and not living atall. But you have to think about the other people who'll be affected if you die (be it your parents or the people in the other car).

But whats the point in being alive if you don't live?

Sorry downer bit drunk and thinking about old mates.

Well, we've all had Buds who did the same things we did and ended up dead as a result. 140 MPH and losing control and hitting a concrete bridge pylon versus hitting 160 MPH and staying in control with only burnt points and plugs as a result. Fatal drug overdoses versus being totally wasted with a humongous hangover and no memory of what happened as a result. Could've been us, but wasn't. Ain't we the lucky ones?

Yup life can be weird, guys who fuck about alot end up ok and careful guys end up worse.

A family friend went off a cliff with four other guys know one of the other guys brothers well (What the fuck do you say to him? I've got a younger bro and I seriously dunno what I'd do, like really seriously if that happened to him.) They were messing about.

A mate I used to play rugby with died in his car. A cop who didn't know I knew him (I was on a police course at the time) at one point thought it would be a good idea to show us the car and you could smell him, he burnt to death.

The weirdest part was in a drawing class where the teacher was asking who's drawing is this and the class slowly went silent as they realised it was his and then it was just set to the side that shit stays with you (as does the car obviously). He wasn't fucking about atall.

Another guy I know wrote off 4 cars (atleast one just fucking the engine though) in one month (and more before and since) not a scratch on him.

It's life.
