The KLF are one of my favourite producers, yet their material was pretty inconsistent. The fact is the good stuff they made was so fucking good that they're one of my favourites for a fairly small number of tracks.

And I could say the same about Orbital. Some of the best work ever written by those guys, and yet some of their album stuff I can't listen to.

You may not appreciate it, but FSOL too have produced a number of brilliant tracks, and some which is simply mediocre. But I haven't heard all their albums.

Consistant - M.I.K.E. and Ozgur Can.

Yes, I know what to expect from them when I hear one of their records. Both of these artists have a certain style, that all their tunes have, but the tunes do have their differences too. If it ain't broke, don't fix it

Inconsistant - Tiesto. Half of his work is mediocre or just crap, the other half is brilliant. I just never know what to expect.

I think some of Orbital's album work is brilliant, especially in that context. The tracks on the Brown Album sound so much better in sequence than when you isolate them.

FSOL's albums tend to be similar- more cohesive journeys. Only Accelerator was just a bunch of tracks, most of which were crap.

I suppose you could say the same of Chill Out, but The White Room's album tracks were a totally different tack to the singles, and much weaker.

Hehe, Accelerator was first that came to mind.
