No matter how rude you like to be u still cant show any signs of intellect, u have no point and again no solid data to back up your comments....and u wanna drag me along into this idiotic thread of yours for???? Seems u certainly have something personal with certain DJs..specially when u go and listen to their music in that bedroom of urs..where u break down THE MARK OF A DJ!!!LOL
You getting all aggressive and rude...using terms that..oh well , only boys like u might use.
Grow up and hen count to 10 before u get on TA and start using such terms and rude language, U are just showing more signs of being a bitter and irritated mind &soul, go ahead and lets hear your rude comments more...Anatomy seems to be your fav topic besides trance

greetz

Alright let's get this over with:

1) "Instead of complaining about DJs..maybe you should take a look at the crowd first and urself": That started this. Who made comments 1st, slick?

2) "Anatomy seems to be your fav topic besides trance": I think it's great how you pick up on one thing and over-exagerate it to the point where the only person who understands what you're implying is yourself.

3) "Seems u certainly have something personal with certain DJs": Since you're so great at digging for information, why don't you find a time when I insulted a DJ instead of fabricating "Solid Data" that you're so fond of.

4) "Grow up and hen count to 10 before u get on TA and start using such terms and rude language": I'm sorry did I hurt your feelings Sir? Grow up and count to 10...? Ouch... I see you've been brushing up on your 3rd Grade insults...

5) "u have no point and again no solid data to back up your comments": This is a forum discussion. I projected my personal opinions. Since you're the self-proclaimed "Scholar" in the English language, I shouldn't have to give you a lesson as to what "opinion" means, but you'd do well to add Dictionary.Com to your favorites.

6) "using terms that..oh well , only boys like u might use.": Yes, yes "Boys like me" speak English. You didn't know? I'm sorry if I offended you old man. I know you're far wiser and beyond the ways of today's youth.

That about covers what I care to continue covering.

The end point here is that you began your arrogant spiel and I retaliated as I saw fit. If you're going to comment on something I said, a good idea from here onwards would to be Shut Up, READ what is written, and express your view point based on what you read. NOT Read something, interpret it the way you want to, and then express your own arrogance which is completely off-topic to begin with.

I don't know why your eyes and tongue loop around so much... ( ) But it's probably no coincidence that you choose to use that emoticon when it's been aptly titled "Crazy".

Arguing over the internet is like competing in the special olympics; Whether you win or lose, you're still retarded.

Respond if you want to Messiah, but as far as i'm concerned this conversation is over.

I'm hyped!

My favorite genre of music is not Trance, however the hype surrounding Tiesto is like nothing I've seen before.
I think this is going to be the Best Canada Day Party in Toronto, who's seen the flyer? Beautiful indeed.
Well for those of you going see you soon,
Chris

OMG that night was absolutely uphoric, and quite possibly the best party night of my life....Tiesto tore up the place, and I still listen to that set the most out of my collection.....(or maybe tied with Dutch Dimensions 2002). Amazing, amazing night, and I am so very excited about this weeks party, and so excited about returning to toronto

To each his own, concerning their opinions on the topic, however, I really can't stand those people who will go to a party and get annoyed when everyone starts singing "Love Comes Again" or something.
I hear it all the time: people complain because everyone knows the words....and thats the only reason they dislike the song.....how dumb!! Like what you want to like!

Who ever said that?

I was the one who started this thread and got upset because of the mainstream implications of the name "Tiesto" and yet I was singing "Love Comes Again" all the way through. I don't think anyone here understands what's being said or what's even going on.

Hehee, yeah, i listen to that set just the other day, brings back so many memories. And i agree too, i listen to that set, and dutch dimension the most

In June 2003, i wasnt even planning to go to the tiesto event. A friend talked me into it, and it was a typical wednesday night. I decided to go at the last minute, i called up my buddy and he said he was just about to leave. I think i got my ticket at the door for like $20-25 LOL (like thatll ever happen again haha), and all of a sudden, when i didnt expect it at all, the best trance night of my life. I cant really even describe that night, you just had to be there. It wasnt packed, but definately a full party.

It doesn't matter if his name is Mainstream or not. If you like Britney Spears, listen to her. Coldplay is a good example too. Good and popular. I am not going to stop listening to them simply because they are "mainstream". Fuck that. No one's ruining my enjoyment of music.

Honestly I don't know what I have to do or say to stop everyone from interpreting everything their own way.

When did I now say to stop listening to Tiesto?! This is ridiculous

I've lost interest in Tiesto and G&D are now my number one till further notice.

You wrote that in your original post. If I lost interest in someone, it's preety safe to bet I won't be listening to them.

Untrue. I used to have Tiesto as my #1 Favorite DJ, now he's just slipped to the lower rungs for ME personally. I still blast Nyana in my Car on occasion, and Pump some Urban Train when i'm in the mood. Trance is trance and Tiesto is a solid DJ, The only thing i'm trying to bring attention to at this point and maybe have some people be honest with themselves and support what i'm saying for a change, is that Tiesto has hit the radio waves and gone into the mainstream league and i'm not happy with it. That's ALL i'm saying!! Get it right people.

I am extremely happy with it. Tiesto is deserving of being as popular as he is, even if you don't much care for his newer stuff. I'd rather see him where he is today, succesful, happy, and at the same time still a good dj, and even better producer, and still down to earth than not being recognized for what he's done. Of course, I don't like people who are ignorant to trance listening to him, but I was once at that point too. A very loooong time ago. But at least I knew a little bit about edm. He has done some great things mfor trance, depending on your opinion.

Fair enough. I just personally hope and pray that his music never slips and that he doesn't become an even bigger icon for people who know nothing about the genre and never will want to anyway.

He still plays the smaller clubs, which really says something about him. Yes, his agents charge more, but that's just because they can. He even played a small club here with a 1000 person capacity back in December two days before his set at the Docks. I think if he can continue to balance his popularity and his roots, it can be good for everyone involved. Now if he was only doing very large clubs or TIC's, then I would be really pissed off.
