Pardon my eliteness, but why is it that whenever an underground artist who has actually been around for a while but isnt noticed till he makes a crossover mainstream tune hammered by some top3 jock dj, that is when he gets noticed haha. ... I put my money that most on here flipped nut when they heard Beta Boy spun by Arminio. The guys been around the block, this is analogous to Deepdish, maybe not as extreme, but for those that didn't know much about Deepdish, which its hard not to, they did on their latest mainstream crossover album ... that got every other newb and their grandmother sayin "SAY HELLO" ..like some cute **** kitty cat. |
Because it seems to be a rarity anymore for those who are into dance music to actually explore and dive deeper in the music for themselves. Instead they need Armin/Markus/whoever to do that for them and dictate what dance music to listen to or to spin if they happen to dj.
Oh, as for Trentemoller, Le Champagne, In Progress, and his remix of You and I by Filur are his best, IMO. I haven't really been impressed at all by his more current electro and glitchy sound at the moment.
