If you ask me Tiesto deserves number 1 spot because he used to produce the best, perform the best, make the show stuff best...and now, he is still on top because people respect him and even a person who is a beginner at Trance music, goes to party of Tiesto when it comes to his country...Every Tiesto concert has very crowd and that crowd never stay like that...All jump and enjoy the set played by Tiesto...Do not forget to respect...Oakenfold was the legend of Trance music...now where is he? trying to compose a soundtrack for a drama movie?? he might not be on the stage now but everyone respects him and his music he made...I do respect pvd too because he is one the best..I just say that Armin is better than him and that is my opinion..I went to Armin Van Buuren party in Pavilion this Wednesday(In Cyprus) and Tiesto will be here to play on 3rd of August...Armin was fantastic and I await the same from Tiesto too!! Keep jumping my friends...

fool.... You say tiesto produces better than pvd??? LISTEN TO ANY OF TIESTOS ALBUMS and listen to out tehre and back...or the politics of dancing... youll come to find that pvd is way better than armin and tiesto combined and deserves the number one spot more than any of them... out there and back was the most definitive album of its genre... and why do trance beginners like tiesto? ...because ITS BEGINNER TRANCE MUSIC...its cheeeeesy, i mean come on!...pvd fans back me up!

PvD Whore... why does anyone need to back you up?
Do you want to force your opinion to other people or something?

IMHO PvD is an overrated producer, and he is very boring behind the decks, no interaction with his audience whatsoever. That sucks, cause his mixing is good. But why go see PvD? you might as well put a laptop in front of the audience. They interact with the crowd at the same level.

About PvD's own productions:

ITS BEGINNER TRANCE MUSIC...its cheeeeesy, i mean come on

And again, that's my opinion as well.
I can't understand why you call tiesto's music beginner music, but you like PvD's tracks

William Orbit already redid that one and instead tiesto gets more credit...his version isnt even that creative... and for another example... Tiesto - Honey... come on, thats not his song...he just RE DID IT ...its by billie ray martin... at least above and beyond had the decency to call it a remix... fuckin tiesto always wants to take credit for everything...man its pissing me off just writing about it

So whoever makes the first remix gets all credit?

And it was not a remix by Tiesto anyway. It was an arrangemennt of the original classical song. An arrangement does not allow you to be as creative as a remix because there are more limitations as to what you can do. Listen to the original Barber song and study what an arrangemenet is. And Tiesto DID give credit to Barber. Just because it isn't in the name of the song doesn't mean no credit was given. People say the same thing about Traffic being a ripoff of Pyschofunk, but he sampled that song and credits is as well. Can you imagine every edm song having to list all of its samples in the name of the song? Pleeeez.

Ignorance kills. You want people to back you up so you can have a sense of pride and thinking youre victorious in some way when youre really just arrogant. Youre the fool, you are trying to force your beliefs onto people that like tiesto. We were all created different, different likes and dislikes!!! Thats why were so FUCKING AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If we were all like eachother how would our world be fun, there would only have to be 1 DJ that everyone liked and as you see thats not the fact right now. Not everyone likes PVD's shows and his music because IMO its just cheese. I like Euro-Trance rather then his shit. I like his shows because he plays harder then he produces. Again thats MY opinion am i telling you to stop liking PVD because i think its cheese? No, so go fucking grow up.

PVD is better than Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren combined? Are you serious? This ignorant German do not even deserve to be number 2. I am not saying that his music that horrible; no, his music is good but it's good enough to allow this DJ to be in top 3. Moreover, during his shows he rarely has any connections with the crowd; sometimes it seems that even he does not like what he is playing. And "Politics of Dancing" is a way below any Tiesto's albums.

"Begginer Trance Music"!? Where did you get such a definition.

me grow up? how about you grow up. these threads are for discussion on tracks...why some people like certain artists/songs better than others...lets examine the title of this thread shall we? "why do people say tiesto sucks"...welp im just answering the question...so use some common sense before trying to get at me in some way... and Second, i never said anyone should stop liking tiesto...however i dont see why anyone WOULD like him as a dj and producer
