One of the organizers thought this information would appeal to the first time cherry beach partakers:
"Come prepared to spend the day as the tunes will be ass-kickin' from dusk til' dawn. Bring clothes appropriate to the weather as the nights are cooler down by the lake. BRING A BLANKET or lawn chairs, water, food, flashlight, mosquito repellent etc...it'll make yer day that much more wikked when you have somewhere to sit n'chill. Public washrooms, food vendor are on the premises but close in the evening. After that its au natural (hint: bring toilet paper). Plan to leave the area with everything you've come with i.e. beerbottles, waterbottles, food wrappers, drunkfriends etc).
See the map previously listed on this roll call for driving directions and the flyer for list of dj's. Park in the left lot & drive towards the very end, turn your back to the lake then follow the black bike path (walk right) & then almost immediately walk left onto the dirt path through the trees until you emerge into the clearing. Or, follow the music. We'll mark the area with some ribbon but this will only be visible once you're into the trees a bit."
