70's disco < 80's house.
60's rock... well, yeah, it beats 80's rock.
50's... they were shit in the begining, and i have no gratitude for the beatles for creating the pop structure.
40's... just commercialised jazz, nothing worth mentioning, atleast from those you brought up.
30's - you didnt mention any music
20's jazz... mostly better than the 80's techno, but in some cases the 80's are on par.
overall, among those decades, the only ones that measure up to the 80's are the 20's and the 60's.
