I've seen him play at a Dutch festival this summer, and his set was absolutely far from minimal.
I'm fully aware of the fact he DOES play a lot of minimal lately, but this set ws definitely not something I'd characterize as minimal. Deep, dark, hard and spacy comes closer Really good set, and I consider myself lucky to have been there live, as it was probably one of the pretty few non-minimal sets he's been playing lately..
Heard him together with Villalobos three weeks after at Dance Valley and I had enough after five minutes, of which three or four were spent just getting impressions of the great looking area
